Overall i am very well pleased with this book and the excitement it has brought me. This book had me unwilling to put it down until I turned the last page. Wow I read this book in just a couple of days. Never would have dreamed the way it ended. Couldn't but the book down. Very suspenseful. You think things are going to turn out okay and then it turns up different. The race is always on or should I say Chase
You are just praying that no one gets hurt and they catch the bad guys. Only it always turn around to a different solution or conclusion. But it's never a true conclusion because something else happens.
Loved this book and the author as she is new to me. Will have to check out some of her books
The characters could have used a little more depth. I liked them both but their backgrounds were skimmed over and quite vague. Still, even with that, there was a great story line and suspense wrapped in a touch of romance and lust. If you're a fan of this type of book it won't be a waste of time!
Love this book and the series first installment. It has romance, suspense and action, with characters that keep the story interesting and moving (literally) the whole time.
I love the way Zane and Angel's romance develops and the chemistry between them. He takes a chance on her and in return they get involved in a dangerous situation from Angel's past. There is a back story that starts to develop towards the end of the book that will keep you guessing into the next book, without the terrible cliffhanger.
This is a great series, that even though books can stand on their own, I will be reading the next ones to see what happens with the characters you get introduced to.
I had to give it a 5star. It had action, it had a love story, it had great characters and it was well-written. At the end of the day that is all we readers want. Would I rave about it as I have with some books? Probably not only because there are better books out there for me personally but give it less than a 5 considering it was free and good would be unfair to the author. I read this genre as a change. I like it because of the way it was written. Zane and Angel were easy to connect to and the plot kept me turning pages. The novel had tension and excitement and it made me want to read the series despite my preferences.

Wow! This was an amazing book! If you like a book with suspense, action, and romance don't pass this book by.
Angel was running for her life. She hid away in a small plane. After takeoff Zane saw her bruised and battered body. His gut twisted. He didn't know who had hurt her, but he wanted to protect her.
Angel tried to keep Zane away. She knew the men that was after her, would hurt anyone to get to her. Angel got into some scary situations that kept me holding my breath. Zane always managed to find her, and help, and protect her.
This is a book worth reading.

No matter which way he went, he hit walls. He couldn't risk losing the High vision contract or the money for Trish he got from the DEA, but neither could he let angel face a threat alone. He didn't even know her whole name, where she came from, or how she'd spent her life until now. He didn't know what she ate besides pizza. What he did know was how his insides flip flopped when she walked into a room. How she could look at him as if she believed he slayed dragons and make him want to go hunt one down for her. He had it bad.
This was my first Dianna Love book. It was a great story that I couldn't put down. The characters were at times frustrating, but you could completely understand and relate to their reluctance to just give in and take the easy way. The connection between Angel and Zane was surrounded by mystery and anticipation and you were just never sure which way it was going to go, although you assumed Angel was always going to run. It was nice to have some of her running episodes validated when the FBI made their presence and intent known. The one thing that confused me and really brought the story to a screeching halt was Chapter 60 that went into great detail about the coins and this secret society of sorts that were trying to get them. I found very little relevance to this and it left me going back on my to see if the story had abruptly stopped and I was reading an excerpt from another story. Then Chapter 61, the last chapter, went back to the story and wrapped things up nicely. I read the book in one day and Chapter 60 really derailed me. If I would have known about it, I would have skipped it and finished the book on a high. That being said, I enjoyed the rest of the entire book and would definitely read another by Dianna Love. I will be checking to see if Angel and Zane make a repeat appearance!
I couldn't finish this book, and I love suspense. It just wasn't going anywhere. I couldn't connect with the main characters, and the more I read, the less I liked them! I finally just gave up. Don't waste your time or money on this dreadful book.
